Annual Quick Draw & Live Art Auction

Quick Draw gives the public an exclusive opportunity to observe artists as they work-- then take home a one of a kind masterpiece from the Live Art Auction.

While few are fortunate enough to witness an artist’s creation of a work, the TCA will present visitors with this unique experience at the 10th Annual Quick Draw this fall. Over the years, the Quick Draw event has provided the opportunity to observe forty New Mexico artists construct works from the beginning stages in setting up their easels and shaping the first brush strokes, to adding the finishing touches, and framing the final masterpieces. After Quick Draw, observers have the option chance to bid on the artworks at the Art Auction and could take home a piece they witnessed throughout the process.

At this year's Quick Draw we have added the Taos Studio Artists, Friends of TCA Exhibit and Auction
Now on exhibit at Centinal Bank of Taos 11 of Taos's best.

Visitors are welcome to stroll through the historic TCA courtyard as they observe artists designing two and three dimensional art in a variety of mediums including: oil paintings, watercolors, acrylics, drawings, mixed media, sculpture, jewelry, stone, glass and wood. In this enchanting setting, guests will sense the allure that brings many artists to Taos. Observers will also have a chance to ask the artists about their works and inspirations.
