Participating interns are encouraged to both explore their interests and expand their skill sets based on host organizations needs.  Schedules are flexible to accommodate other responsibilities beyond this internship.

Interns are supported to work with TCA, directly with a partnering organization, and as part of an arts corp that can support various events in Taos. This is a paid opportunity with work responsibilities.

Every year, the cohort numbers and partner’s network expand to better include and support youth in Taos. Interested in joining?

132 Paseo

Located at 132 Paseo del Pueblo Norte, the historic and centrally located building 132 Paseo (1,200 sq. ft.), has been leased to restaurateurs for over two decades. It is now scheduled for renovation and incorporation into TCA programming.

TCA staff and board, in connection with community partners, have developed a vision and business plan for 132 Paseo to be a multi-use arts enrichment and education space, serving as a hub for the Inter-Arts Internship Program and community-led endeavors.

With 132 Paseo, TCA sees an opportunity to expand and ground the Inter-Arts Internship Program, so more Taos County youth can explore more opportunities in the arts. But the space will also engage artists and adult learners, being available for community use, classes, workshops, meetings, and occasional exhibitions. TCA anticipates 132 Paseo will benefit 1,500 individuals and organizations, as well as enliven the streetscape and TCA’s connection to main street and the plaza.

Interested in using 132 Paseo? Please reach out to David Gallegos, TCA’s Program Manager, at david@tcataos.org.

The Education Program is supported, in part, by Taos County and the American Rescue Plan (ARPA), as well as the LOR Foundation.
